In this program, your child will develop skills in three key areas: letter recognition, phonemic awareness, and phonics. Students learn these skills through in-class instruction and games, and by working with Pole and Vole Stories at home. This workbook and its accompanying CDs feature an exciting story and colorful artwork that keeps children engaged and motivated. As a result, your child will be prepared for kindergarten, with the readiness skills needed to learn to read successfully.
The workbook's accompanying CDs tell a story as part of each lesson. Your child will love the wonderful characters and will enjoy the adventures of Pole and Vole, two best friends. Each story is followed by instruction on the letter and sound featured in the story, and provides instructions for the workbook exercises.
