We will provide a home study make-up lesson, which involves instructional materials you and your child will access online. If you wish, your son or daughter may also make-up the missed lesson in another nearby class. To view class schedule options, please click here.
Class instruction and program materials meet the needs of a wide range of students. The teacher provides individualized support and guidance based on your child's skill level and needs.
Enrollments are taken until the start date of class, or until the class is fully enrolled.
Refund requests must be made in writing and postmarked at least ten days before the first day of class. There is a $15 processing fee per family.
The maximum class size is eighteen students. The class size allows for your child to receive personal attention from the teacher, while also participating in lively group discussions and activities.
After you enroll one student, you will receive a $30 discount for each additional student you enroll. The discount applies to family members at the same mailing address.
A limited number of scholarships are available to students with demonstrated financial need.
Each lesson features group activities and individual attention, and includes skills instruction, games, reading aloud, comprehension-building discussions, and enrichment activities in great children’s books. Both you and your child will have fun participating in these reading-readiness activities.

Each week, you'll read aloud at home with your child and try out some of the reading readiness games and enrichment activities you learn in class. Your child will also complete short assignments in the phonics program, Pole and Vole Stories. This home practice is well structured, easy to follow, and a lot of fun.
